Earl Grey Tea please x
I recent read Holly’s 100 things about me she is the inspiring creator behind the Decor 8 and Haus Maus blogs. I found it so interesting reading about people! Her post made me smile….so just for some fun I was inspired to write a list (hopefully I can make a few people smile and not bore you all!).
#1 I have one Mini-Stylista my son who is 18 months old and currently obsessed with opening and shutting doors.
#2 Our son’s nickname is Spooky…my husband actually wanted to call him that and funny enough would have worked well as he enjoys sitting in cupboards (because they have doors see #1).
#3 We live in a workers cottage in Queensland Australia. It is over 100 years old and still standing (well ‘just’ standing-shakes a little during the regular summer storms we get).
#4 We have two West Highland Terriers called Boo Radley and Scout (named after the characters in the book ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’).
#5 My first drink was actually Tea…my father is English and whilst having a cup of tea he decided to dip his finger in his tea and give me some…so natuarally I am a big tea drinker…
#6 Earl Grey is my favourite Tea.
#7 I also love a good coffee with chocolate….epsecially dark chocolate truffles!
#8 My favourite/ lucky number is 8 and to my delight my son was born on the 8th day of a month in the year 2008.
#9 When I was little I wanted to be a ….. Fashion designer, Pro Skateboarder, Concert Pianist and Teacher ‘when I grew up’.
#10 I learnt to skateboard when I was a teenager and I studied business and teaching at University…I became an Early Childhood teacher and have taught for 7 years.
#11 I used to model in my twenties so I did get to work with Fashion designers in the end!!! My husband works at Fashion weeks so we live and breathe fashion!
#12 My all time favourite singer is Bjork.
#13 I am obsessed with food-there is nothing better in life then good food!
#14 My favourite restaurant is a French Restaurant called Montrachet.
#15 One of my son’s first words was Cheese because that is his favourite thing to eat!
#16 I set up Mini-Stylista because I am obsessed with fashion and wanted to meet other mums like me.
#17 I am obsessed with the Australian Designer LOVER I own some of the most sought after pieces of their infamous Black Magick collection!
#18 My greatest fashion score…a pair of the most amazing YSL peep toes from Colette in Paris!
#19 One of our favourite places we travelled to was a place called Ravello in Italy AMAZING!
#20 At the moment we love to eat Duck Ragu with freshly made pasta.
#21 I love to ‘sleep in’ although feel like I haven’t had one in 18 months (I wonder why?).
#22 I can’t seem to go to bed before 11:20pm each night!
#23 I have slept in many places….cars, aeroplanes, boats…..and cities Paris, London, Rome, LA, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
#24I prefer to have a few ‘very good friends’ than many friends.
#25 My two best friends are my husband and my son…we do everything together. My ‘Mini-Stylista’ is my greatest achievement in life!

That was really sweet! We have a lot in common , I “tried” to skateboard in highschool (I wasnt a tomboy but a really girly girl so don’t know why I wanted to???…haha) and I have even landed a few tricks. I went to school to become a fashion designer and then kids and life just got really crazy (it was a year that nothing seemed to slow down)… I am like yourself…love fashion and so glad I found ur blog and lovely site!!! You are my favorite stylista
