Noosa has become a very special place to me and my family. It is not only a a place where we have spent many wonderful holidays…we also got married at Noosa and found out that we were pregnant with our son!
Living in Brisbane it is just a short drive to Noosa so we take regular day trips and spend our Easter and Summer holidays there. There are so many great places you can stay depending on your budget and preference. Personally we prefer to stay right on Hastings Street at the beach or at Little Cove.
Staying on Hastings street is perfect if you have a little baby or toddler in our case. You just walk out of your unit and you are literally on the beach! There is also boardwalk that runs along the beach which is perfect if you have a pram and need to get to all the cafes and shops.

Being a Shopaholic MAMA I of course bought lots of things on my trip. One fantastic find was the Monkeytail and Wellington Monkey from a new store called Lamington. It really suits my son’s personality being the Monkey he is! Infact I love it so much that I have decided to use it as a travel buddy! Each time my son and I go on a trip or outing we will take photos of Monkey and share our adventures!
So here is the first top 5 list of MONKEYING AROUND NOOSA:
1) Wake up in the morning grab a coffee and croissant or muffin from SAILS restaurant and sit on the beach and enjoy!
2) Swim at the beach (Monkey always swims between the flags!) or go for a walk to Little Cove or the National park
3) Go to the Farmers Markets on the weekend to pick up delicious morsels!!!
4) Enjoy a cocktail at Bistro C (Monkey of course had water!)
5) Sit under a shady palm tree and eat Coconut flavoured Gelati!
We had such a fabulous time at Noosa that I am inspired to write more this is only the first post! Watch out for a second post on the shopping!
